| Title: Heteronormativity, Gender Construction, and Non-Verbal Signaling in Intercultural Communication: A Comedy Author: mad_maudlinPairing: John/Teyla, some Jennifer/Ronon (all Mensaverse) Verse: Mensaverse Rating: PG-13 Length: 35,000 Warnings: The odd stray spoiler through Season 4, strong crack quotient, nerd jokes Summary: In which Teyla may be plotting something, Keller may be delusional, Ronon may be cheating and John may in fact be the girl. No pudding cups or Marines were harmed in the production of this fanfic. A/N: This was originally written for sga_santa as a giftfic for vipersweb. It is NOT related to my Major Zelenka Mensa!Fics in any way. Link goes to first of four parts, with links to the rest at the end. ( It started with pudding. ) | |

| title: The Other Road writer: seekergeek pairing: Mensa!John/Rod rating: NC-17 wordcount: 45,852 (I know, I know) warnings: rimming, possessiveness disclaimer: Owned by someone who isn't me. No profit made here. notes: Beta'd by the ever wonderful moonmip and celtic_tigress . Any remaining errors are my own. Set just after McKay and Mrs. Miller. Posted in eight parts. Cross posted to sga_noticeboard Summary: John sat in his room, sickened. Rod was gone. In the insane desperation to close the rift as quickly as possible, he'd thrown a casual "See you on the flip side, Sheppard," in John's direction and then activated the personal shield, closed the compartment doors, jumped ship and disappeared into another universe. part one of eight is here | |

| Title: Running Battles Author: Tarlan ( tarlanx) Rating: PG-13 for mild violence and excessive hero worship :-) Characters: Rod, John and Kavanagh - Mensa!AU Disclaimer: Not Mine! Word Count: 1690 Author's Note: This was inspired by the recent Mensa AU exchange - I loved the idea of writing a Kavanagh pov. Many thanks, as ever, to aqualegia for pointing out all my silly mistakes :-D Running Battles by Tarlan - Mood:bouncy

| Title: Unravel Author: florahartPairing/Characters: Fairly low-key McKay/Sheppard, both universes. Other major ensemble characters in both 'verses, too. Setting: SGA-verse and MENSA-verse Rating: Teen? Word count: about 7500 Warnings: none Spoilers: there are references to events through S4. Summary: The city is falling apart, and (SGA) John goes to ask Rod McKay for help. Notes: losyark asked for John Sheppard (and McKay, maybe) travel to Rod's universe to warn them of something horrible that has already happened on their Atlantis. It turned out more asking than warning, which I hope will do. This is set post-S4, and works under the assumption that everyone who started the finale, finished it in good shape and still on Atlantis. Recipient: losyark( Unravel )

| Title: To Keep This Job, I Must Be Nuts Author: audreyscastlePairing/Character(s): MENSA-Lorne. References to a past het pairing, but no actual pairing as such for the fic. At least in my opinion—YMMV. Setting: MENSA-verse Rating: PG-13 to be safe Warnings: none in particular. Death is mentioned, but all canon characters are safe. Spoilers only for Season 1. Summary: His first year in Atlantis, Evan Lorne writes a series of letters he knows will never be read. The following are selections from them. Notes: Using the fact that a president was recently inaugurated, a few months before the Atlantis expedition embarked (Season 7 of SG-1), I've always placed the expedition as leaving in April of 2005. Fortunately, this being an AU, I don't have to argue with anyone who doesn't agree with my timing, LOL. :-D Recipient: paradise_city( To Keep This Job, I Must Be Nuts )

Author's Note: Written for thisissirius who asked, We know how far our John is willing to go for Rodney. How far is Rod willing to go for John? Torture would be real good in this one. A little sprinkle of dark!Rod wouldn't go amiss.I am really hoping this is what you wanted, and that you enjoy the story I've written for you! | Title: Just Rodney Author: losyarkPairings: Sumner/Sheppard; McShep Setting: MENSA-verse Rating: NC-17 for language and sexual situations (but no graphic non-con!) and Sheppard!whump Genre: Angst Wordcount: 14 300+ Summary: Sumner is looking too, and suddenly his eyes spark. "Hey, kid," he says, sauntering over to the chair and cocking his hips obscenely against the arm rest. Sheppard pulls his hand away discreetly. "Wanna go to Atlantis?" Rod closes his eyes and counts to ten; Sheppard is a big boy, he can make his own choices.Author's Notes: Thanks to my beta, whom I will not name in order to keep up anonymity, but who knows who she is and rocks. This story got way more serious, and way more McSheppy than I intended it to. While Sumner is a main player, he ended up fading into the sidelines a bit, and for that I apologize to wanderingwidget. I know you also said you liked McShep, so I hope this makes up for the diminished Sumner. I hope you like the story regardless.— Your Secret Author.Recipient: wanderingwidget( Part One )Part Two

| Welcome to the Mensa AU Fic Exchange #2! Fasten your seatbelts, everyone - the ride is about to begin!
Yes, it's time: the deadline's over, and today the posting starts.
This is how it'll go: I'll post the first story tonight, and then two a day, until we're done. The stories will be anonymous, with a poll attached so everyone can guess who wrote which story. In order to make it a bit easier, there will only be five randomly selected writers on each the poll. Or rather, four random ones and the real one. One out of five, not bad odds, right? :D
Authors, you can use the "track comments" function to receive all feedback for your story, but please remember the story remains anonymous until May 1st, when I'll post the masterlist and reveal the names. If you want to reply to feedback right away, please do so anonymously so people can keep guessing!
Have a great week! And thanks to everyone for participating – it's been great fun. :-)
